Welcome to the website of the Video Slideshow Exchange Project!

This site aims to help language teachers around the world use video production in their classes and establish video-based class exchanges. To this effect, it promotes the use of video slideshows and other kinds of video that can be produced with limited resources.

Narrated video slideshows can be created with a digital camera, a computer, and a microphone. No other equipment is necessary. However, by supplementing the spoken word with images, they can greatly enhance the quality of communication across cultures.
